We signed our contract last week and have been driving by our site all week long at 7AM to see if construction started - today, we were so excited because we saw men and a machine! :) :) :) Made our day! We are also so excited because our friends bought a home in the same neighborhood!!! And, this friend happens to be the very first person that I met in Porterville - on my interview day - because she works at my school!!!
After school, I drove to the neighborhood to see what kind of work was done and was amazed to see our entire floor plan spread out on the dirt! I took a million pictures! Across the street, I saw a couple looking at their own lot, and decided to say hello to our soon-to-be-neighbors! Their names are Jesse and Erica and they are super nice. Erica is a 7th grade teacher... so we're bound to get along!
