Perhaps an odd image to start today's blog off with, but I took this picture to one, capture how teeny tiny Ellie is on her 3rd week birthday, and two, show how absolutely beautifully her incision is healing! She is sooooooooooooooo amazing.

What was wonderful this weekend is that my mom "babysat" Ellie while Jeremiah, my father and I all went to church. I got to sing with the Worship Team this Sunday (and was able to rehearse with them last Wednesday!) and it felt so good. I didn't just want to go back up there and sing, I NEEDED it - It is my way of saying thank you, THANK YOU, to our Amazing God. And what song did we happen to sing this weekend? It's called Through It All - just happens to be the song that I constantly sang to Ellie at her bedside in the NICU - it's all about how we learn to trust in God THROUGH IT ALL - needless to say, I was kinda emotional. And what happened to be the first lyrics of the first song we sang at the service? - Great is Your Faithfulness Oh God.... Yes, I HAD to be there singing this weekend!
