2-10 Ellie

Ellie is wearing the outfit that I bought her! The ONLY outfit that I've actually bought for her so far! I started crying when I put it on her tonight because I thought about how far we've come. I bought this outfit week 21 of my pregnancy - just after finding out that I was having a girl. If you scroll through the blogs, you will see the picture I took of just the outfit - and now here she is wearing it!

2-9 Ellie

Ellie is a ladybug!

First stroller ride! We went around Burton Middle School together while waiting for Jeremiah to finish work!

I finally was able to eat with both hands last night - Ellie seemed thrilled about her high chair...slept through our dinner entirely!

2-8 Ellie

I think this is my favorite photograph that I have taken so far!

I took this one so that I can always remember just how tiny Ellie is right now!

I like the message of this one a lot...

2-7 Ellie

So most of my pictures are of happy and content Ellie - because for the most part, that's Ellie! So, I thought it would be a little different to catch Ellie right before the WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! - So here she is! I prayed hard for her to be a singer - and the week that I read her vocal chords were forming, I prayed for strong pipes - God has answered my prayer... :)

Ellie is sleeping on a boppy pillow in this picture that is on my lap. I LOVE this thing! It offers enough support for her body that I can have both of my hands free - so I can eat, type, talk on the phone, etc! :)

I put on some classical music through Pandora Radio - and Ellie was definitely transfixed! Now she'll definitely have a high IQ!

Here's a close up of Ellie in her swing. I love how she's so alert - taking in everything. She doesn't just go in it and sleep!

And here's Ellie using her rainforest floor mat for the first time. I took her arms and helped her touch the toys above her head. She was content staring at everything for quite awhile!

Ellie at Home 2-6-12

Now that we're home and getting situated, I'm able to take pictures of our daughter doing the normal things that babies do :) All of the following depict milestones for us because they are our first time as parents doing any of them with our baby girl! This first picture, for instance, is Ellie on her bath mat getting ready for her first bath at home. It went remarkably well! No crying! She seemed to enjoy it! Yea!

These next three pictures are of Ellie right after her bath! All refreshed and content!

This last picture here shows a happy Daddy who has just calmed his screaming baby girl! He is practicing what we learned on the 'Happiest Baby on Earth' DVD... it works!
