I just love watching Ellie wake up in the morning. Sometime in the middle of each night (when she's waken to nurse), she is pulled into bed with us and sleeps the rest of the night in our bed. After that, she typically sleeps for about 4-5 more hours and I usually wake up for the day before she does (she loves to sleep in late!) Many times, I will walk back into our bedroom and find her wide awake looking around the room and "talking" to the ceiling fan, the bedspread, the air..? It is sooooooooooooo adorable. Many times she will have no idea that I've been watching her. And then she finds me - and she SMILES! I never want to forget these precious moments, so below are pictures of the moment when she spots me watching her! I also video taped her "talking" too!
I decided to change her hair style! I went Claires and purchased these little elastics meant for baby hair and made a little ponytail on top of her head - the kind that only a baby can get away with! Then I clipped on a little bow to hide the elastic, and it looked super cute :)
PopPop and Ellie got to spend some good time together this week!
This is the look of a baby who has found the television (crazy how much her focus shifts toward it!) It's a pretty foreign thing for her to see in our household!
While we waited around for Jeremiah's flight to come in from Belize (that ran 4 hours late!!!), PopPop, Ellie, and I decided to go swimming together in their neighborhood pool...Ellie got to practice all the skills she's been learning!
