 First time in the shopping cart without her carseat! (didn't last too long... still a bit wobbly!)

One of our friends caught this picture while at a Potluck get together last weekend... more places for Ellie to walk around :) 

 My parents came to visit last weekend. It had been a month since they visited, so I pretty much gave Ellie to my mom for their entire stay... I fed her when she was hungry, but otherwise, my mom wanted to be with her! :)

 She is reaching the floor in her walker now... she knows how to go backwards...

 She reaches for everything... she knows how to get into this tummy position from sitting now, and she is trying so hard to crawl, just can't figure out how to coordinate all of her body parts! PopPop is definitely enjoying this lively Ellie!

Our school year started this week and we are back in the classroom. Ellie spends each morning with her babysitter and family. She stays in good spirits there (though has started crying when handed over to others now...) but she gets REALLY excited when I come to the door to pick her up at noon each day - it's super cute, and makes me feel so good inside! She waves her hand up and dad and squeals mmmm.... mmmm..... - I never want to forget it. I pray she is always so happy to see me. 

I LOVE working part time! I pick Ellie up after teaching 3 classes, we play at home, we nap together, we pick up Daddy, and we have the rest of the night together as a family.
