My favorite part of this week: Ellie's smiles. She actually smiles when I say "Smile" and she looks right at the camera... During a week when I sometimes felt a little sad, her smiles literally cheered me up. They always do.
Last weekend, I dressed Ellie in an outfit that used to be mine...and she sure was a cute Patriotic Baby!
And SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy! (as usual!)
Ellie is Mini Jeremiah!!!!! (in female form!)
We joined Lori (Ellie's Babysitter) and her family at their church last Sunday and enjoyed a BBQ potluck that evening, complete with a first hayride for Ellie!
These next few pictures were actually from a couple of weekends ago when Prashant came to visit. We went to lunch in Exeter at the Wildflower Cafe, my favorite little restaurant there...

Below we are seated in front of a great mural just outside the restaurant (behind this wall is Ellie's doctor's office)
We spent A LOT of time outdoors this week!
And we did some decorating out front!
Ellie enjoyed pureed chicken breast...yummm...
Her new favorite thing to do...
I really don't like waking her up in the morning... it's so hard to when she looks all peaceful like this!!!
But at least she smiles at me when she wakes...
A couple of nights ago, we fell asleep together on the couch after the end of another day
Last night, Clara decided to curl up and fall asleep on our freshly washed towels! I had put them on the carpet to fold them, but Clara beat me to them :)
This morning, Jeremiah and I went to a very pretty park in Porterville. Our friend's daughter is a photographer and we wanted to give her some business. There area lot of geese at the park, and I thought this picture above was humorous because the van was waiting until all those geese had crossed the road before he could move any further. It's been awhile since I've seen something like that!
This is the reason I like this park so much - beautiful palm trees!
For the photo-shoot, I dressed Ellie in another one of my dresses from when I was a baby... it fit her perfectly!
And we decided to have a photoshoot (of just Ellie) of our own when we got home!
A fresh picked rose from our rosebush - from daddy to Ellie
