The main reason for going down this weekend was for my friend Kari's baby shower. Her baby girl Teagen is due in 5 weeks...!!!
One of the girls at the shower brought her baby girl to the shower as well. Turns out that her baby is only 1 week older than Ellie. The two girls enjoyed a small playdate! Look at that eye contact between them!
Jeremiah hung out with Kari's husband, James, during the shower, but we all had a chance to hang out afterwards, and James got to prepare for what it will be like to hold his baby :)
More visitors! My friend Kristen (first friend from Long Beach) came over to see and hold Ellie!
My mother and I had fun playing with Ellie on our bed! We even got to tuck her in - she looks so different on this bed then in her crib!
We ended this beautiful day by attending an awesome Saturday night service at Cornerstone Church. There was a Jewish guest speaker who spoke on the Messianic Passover Sedar - absolutely awesome! And my mother came up to the stage to light the candles and sing a prayer.
Ellie's Uncle Jeff (who missed the adventures at Grandma's house the day before) finally had his turn to hold Ellie.
And now Grandpa Steve and Mimi Cindi had their chance to hold Ellie together - they hadn't both held her since her time in Stanford Hospital - 7 weeks ago!!!
