This past Sunday evening we went out to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe with our friends Chris and Nancy and their little boy Connor who is only 2 1/2 months younger than Ellie. The kids LOVED the environment, and Ellie stared and stared and stared at the big aquarium on the bottom floor. Lucky for us, we got seated at a table next to another aquarium - so much fun! 
All of the stimulation definitely made Ellie sleepy after awhile, and I found myself in my classic pose - standing and rocking!
On Monday, we went to Huntington Beach. After a nice stroller ride along the bike/walking trail, we decided to spend some time on the sand. It was the warmest day we had since we've been down here, so the ocean breeze felt really good. Ellie seemed to enjoy looking at the ocean and feeling the ocean breeze... and I was glad I had her bundled in a long sleeve shirt and pants - and socks - she was perfectly sunblocked, but I liked having my baby covered!
After awhile we sat down on a blanket and Ellie enjoyed playing with her toys. Jeremiah took his surf board and enjoyed the ocean. What a perfect time!
These are just some random pictures... - the one above is Ellie next to Clara in the dog crate - made us laugh! She likes to pet the dogs and Clara wouldn't budge from the crate...
The picture below was taken because Sunday night marked Ellie's first time of putting her foot in her mouth and using it as a teether....
And this last picture here is my dad in the happiest spot in his home - his very comfortable chair with the dogs cuddled in his lap....
