It's a Girl!

Jeremiah and I are soooooooooooooooo excited - we're having a girl!!! We found out yesterday, September 14th! This picture was taken right before we had a chance to see her. It's amazing what technology can do!

We've decided to keep her name a secret until she is born.

This picture confirms she is a girl. Imagine she is sitting down on a glass table and the camera was taking a picture of her from underneath the table... so this picture is showing the bottom of her two legs and the space between them.


This picture shows her profile. What we found amazing was that we can see the brain. The most important part of yesterday's ultrasound was the anatomy check. If you look carefully, you can see her nose and mouth. Because of the shadows in the picture, it's hard to make out everything. We believe that we are also seeing her stomach and her legs up in this picture. We were also able to see the four chambers of her heart and her kidneys yesterday!





This picture definitely came out interesting when stilled as a photograph :) But to have seen the live picture while she was moving was AMAZING! Again, the big black spot on the forehead is her brain, and this picture allows a clearer shot of the eyes, nose and open mouth that is SMILING! She was opening and closing her mouth. Incredible!









Her mouth is closed in this picture, but she is smiling! :) :) :)





At 21 weeks, our baby girl is progressing well and is HEALTHY! Praise God!
