This day began the beginnings of a very long journey with Ellie - her first appointment at Stanford since her pacemaker surgery. After her appointment, we decided to travel back down to southern California so that we could spend this Spring Break week with our parents, so between April 1 and 2, we traveled about 800 miles with Ellie - all throughout northern and southern California! Ellie did remarkably well considering she is only 10 weeks old! She only got fussy when it was time to eat, and thankfully there were always rest stops available during those times. During the long stretches on the 5 where there were absolutely no places to stop, she slept!
We started the day with a bath....
And ended the day at a hotel in Palo Alto (after a great visit with a friend in San Jose)... and wow did we have some amazing smiles going on at the hotel! Ellie was sooooooooo happy to get out of the car seat and stretch her legs!
